John Davidson Obituary
Publish in a newspaper
He led a life full of adventure, traveling to Nepal, Egypt and
the United Kingdom. He was a hot air balloon enthusiast, a
member of the Stanley Steamer, the Magic Lantern, the Pittsburgh
Climbers' and the Northeastern Ohio Live Steamers clubs, and
many others. He was an expert in historical artillery and other
scientific topics with publications in several journals. He was employed
by the BF Goodrich Co. and later Case Western Reserve
University. He was preceded in death by his parents John Sr. and
Georgiana (nee Kline) Davidson and his wife Judith (nee Stahl) Davidson.
He is survived by his sister Georgiana, extended family
and many friends. Services will be private with interment at Woodlawn
Cemetery in Norwalk, Ohio. Donations in his memory may be made to
the Animal Protective League of Lorain County or your favorite charity.
John's epitaph: If this Stone should ever roam, kindly please do
send it home to N 41° 14.275' and W 82° 35.6130' cause that's where
I'll be next to my beloved Judy.
The MISENCIK FUNERAL HOME, Avon, is in charge of arrangements.

John was a wealth of useful information, and I say that with the upmost respect. It seems that every time I talked with him, I learned something new, wether I realized it or not. You will be missed my friend.
