Throughout his early life post military, John worked for local 831 Sanitation in Staten Island, NY. John retired early and met his wife Diane who he has been married to for 30 years.

They had a son John who they raised in Beachwood, NJ. John strived to be a devoted and loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend to all those in his life throughout the years.
