John "Jack" Demers passed away peacefully on January 14, 2026 , he just thought it would be a good time to go so he would not have to risk watching the Patriots lose to the Seahawks in Super bowl 60. He died with his son John, also a Patriots fan, by his side at Beaumont Nursing Home in Northborough.
He is survived by his wife Nancy A. (Martone) Demers of Uxbridge; sons John M. Demers and Christopher Demers and his 3 granddaughters Maline, Emma and Dylan, and sisters Mary Demers ,Betty Morvan, Rosemary Papazian, and brother Robert "Bobby" Demers. He was the brother of the late Gloria Lavallee, Charles, Donald, Ernest and Francis Demers
Born in Uxbridge on April 17, 1947, he was the son of Francis and Gloria (Bergeron) Demers and one of 10 children. He grew up in Uxbridge. He was a graduate of Uxbridge High school class of 1964. Jack worked for Weston Nurseries , Busy Bee Nursery in Holden, Globe Distribution and the Cocke and Kettle restaurant in Uxbridge.

Jack loved to hunt pheasant, fish for brook trout and garden. He also loved watching sports , especially football. He will be dearly missed.
