John DeVinney Obituary
John is survived by his children Mark Signorovitch (Carolyn), Julie Signorovitch (Late Scott), Derrick DeVincenzo, John DeVincenzo, Brian DeVinney (Alicia), and Jessie Dominick (Mike), his grandchildren Nikki Signorovitch, Georganne McDevitt, Christian Walker, Emily Walker, Olivia DeVinney, Lyla Dominick, Gracie Dominick, one great grandchild Kanoa McDevitt, and his brother Anthony DeVinney.
John, known to many as Bird, was a General Foreman in Painter's Union DC#21 for most of his career. Outside of work, he loved spending time outdoors. Whether he was hunting at Camp Birchwood or fishing off the coast of New Jersey, he was happiest as a sportsman. John was competitive by nature and enjoyed a variety of sports. The self proclaimed "Michael Jordan of Bocce" also enjoyed golfing regularly with his brother Tony, cousin Carl, and nephew Tony. John will be remembered as a prankster, storyteller, a fighter, and a protector of his family and those he cared most about.
Relatives and friends are invited to John's Life Celebration on Monday, June 5, 2023 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at the Boyd Horrox Givinsh Life Celebration Home, 200 W. Germantown Pike, Norristown, Pa 19401 and on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 from 9:00am until his Funeral Mass at 10:00am at Holy Saviour Church, 407 E Main St, Norristown, PA 19401.
Interment will be held privately at family request.

John was a patient of mine and I told everyone and anyone that would listen that he was one of my favorites. We would talk about baseball and just things happening in our lives. Such a nice man, He was truly a special man and will be missed by many I am sure of it. Many prayers to family!
