John Dieruf Obituary
DIERUF, JOHN "JACK" EDWARD SR., 69, of Fairdale, KY, went to be with his heavenly Father, Friday, December 18, 2009.
A Marine Corps veteran, he was a driver for UPS retiring after 35 years of service. He was also a volunteer driver for Meals on Wheels.
He is survived by his wife, Doris; sons: John Dieruf Jr. (Terri), Eddie Dieruf, and James Brown; daughters, Teresa Rogers (Mark) and Cindy Miller (Walter Sr.); brothers, Tom Dieruf and Jerry Dieruf; sisters, Marylou Densford and Sally Dieruf; grandchildren: John III, Ben, Emily, Steven, Jillian Nicole, Shane, Paige, Wyatt, Addie Jo, Kim and Walter Jr.
Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at Mt. Holly Methodist Church, 804 Mt. Holly Road, Fairdale. Visitation is at Fairdale-McDaniel Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Monday, 2-8 p.m.; and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the church on Tuesday. Burial is at Mt. Holly Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, please make gifts to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
