DiPiazza, John Leonard, 77, of Land O'Lakes, Florida passed away October 1, 2025. He was born and raised in Utica, New York and moved to Florida in January 1980. John was the owner of a successful auto body business called Freedom Body and Fender.
When not working and in retirement, John loved watching Family Feud, the ION channel and any kind of court shows, his favorite being Judge Judy. Also, John enjoyed having his grandkids around and would act silly to make them laugh. He enjoyed going to the casino, playing the guitar (known as Johnny One Note), feeding the dogs way too many treats, but most of all he loved being there for his 4 daughters. John was gifted with the ability to give excellent advice when needed.
John is proceeded in death by his father, Leo DiPiazza; mother, Eve DiPiazza; nephew, Michael Byrne; brother-in-law, Joe Carbone of Canfield, OH. He is survived by his daughter, Lisa and Matt Nixon and their children, Jacob and Tyler Nixon; daughter, Toni and John Brown and their children, Peyton and Kylee Brown; daughter, Diana and Derek Douglas and their children, Olivia and Caleb Papa, Jaden and Damon Douglas; daughter, Michelle and Dave Galasso and their children, Nicholas and Adrianna Galasso; and sisters, Madelyn Carbone of Canfield, OH; Evelyn Zarnoch of Land O'Lakes, FL; Carol and Joe Santalucia of Las Vegas, Nevada.
John will be remembered for his welcoming and loving ways and especially his devotion to his family. He will be dearly missed. A Celebration of Life will be held in the near future.
