John M Doren

John M. Doren, 94, of Howell, New Jersey, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Monday, September 15, 2025, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune. John was born on March 7, 1931, in Jersey City, New Jersey, where he grew up. In 1966, he moved to Hazlet, where he started his family and in 1978, settled in Howell. Before his retirement, John worked as a self-employed contractor for his own company, Artisan Construction. He was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather. He will be greatly missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.

He was predeceased by his parents, John and Susie (Faccone) Doren. John is survived by his loving children, John J. Doren of Hazlet, Richard A. Doren of Holmdel, Robert Doren of Old Bridge, Joseph Doren and his wife, Grace, of Hazlet, Susan Zara and her husband, Dominick, of Keansburg, David Doren of Holmdel, Anthony Doren of Keansburg, Michelle Lawrence and her husband, Troy, of Keansburg, Eric Doren and his wife, Caitlin, of Howell, and Dana Mariano and her husband, Kenneth, of Howell, along with 26 cherished grandchildren and 32 adored great grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Friday, September 19, 2025, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM and Saturday morning, September 20, 2025, from 9:45 to 10:30 AM at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. A mausoleum-side prayer service and entombment will follow at approximately 11:00 AM at Fair View Cemetery, 456 State Highway 35, Middletown, New Jersey 07748.
