John Dorian Obituary
He was born on April 9th,1939 in Chicago, Il. To John and Minnie (nee: Duringer) Dorian.
He was raised in Chicago and at the age of 18 joined the U.S. Army on June 11th,1957. His service to our country took him to many different places across the United States as well as to Korea and Japan. After being honorably discharged on May 31,1963 he began working at Republic/LTV Steel and later at Acme Steel. Later in life he worked as a Security Guard for many years.
John was an avid fisherman who enjoyed his fishing trips to Minnesota and Wisconsin. He was also an avid collector of classic movies and music. Anyone that knew John could tell you that he had a memory like no one else.
John is survived by his two sons, Brian (Allie) and Lance Dorian; and daughter, Tara Dorian; grandchildren Mar Olivero and Camden Dorian. John was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Fred, Marv and Tom; sisters Barbara, Catherine and Sandra; his two sons, Kevin Dorian and Keith Dorian; and grandson Joshua Diebel.
