John “Jack” Steven Dumas, of O Fallon, MO, passed away Sunday, January 18, 2026, at the age of 74. Beloved husband of Susan Dumas; cherished son of the late Roland and Marilyn Dumas; devoted father of Deryck (Becky) Dumas; dear brother of Lawrence (Linda) Dumas and Daniel (Mary) Dumas; loving grandfather of Gage, Owen, and Aly Dumas; treasured uncle to many nieces and nephews; dearest brother-in-law to Cynthia Skelton. John is preceded in death by his brother, Roland Edward Dumas.
Jack was a proud member of the VFW, Amvets, and the Elks Lodge of DeSoto, and he lived an active, service-filled life. An avid softball player, he also gave his time as a basketball coach at his church, sharing his love of sports and mentorship with others. A lifelong Cardinals fan and a devoted dog lover, Jack found joy in both the simple pleasures and the communities he cherished. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
