John Christopher Ebert, age 61, of Sheboygan, Wisconsin, passed away on September 6, 2023, at St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan.
John was born on September 8, 1961, in Evanston, Illinois, a son of John F. "Jack" and Barbara L. Ebert. He was raised in Northbrook, Illinois, and attended Glenbrook North High School and St. Bonaventure in Racine, Wisconsin. As an adult, he lived in Sebring, Florida, and later Sheboygan, Wisconsin.
During his life, John became an accomplished motocross racer who traveled for competitions throughout the Midwest; a talented contractor employed by CR Ebert Roofing Company; and a hardworking employee at the Country Club of Sebring. He was most proud, however, of his daughter Courtney.
John was a beloved member of a large family and made friends wherever he went. He is survived by his daughter, Courtney Ebert; Brother, Michael Ebert (Lisa); Sisters, Robin McCue (Tom) and Wendy Schlax (Peter). His memory is also honored by his nieces, Jennifer, Nicole, Bridgette, Katie and Molly; and his nephews, Carl, John and Christopher. He was preceded in death by his loving parents, John and Barbara Ebert, and his uncle and friend, Henry Ebsch.
A private service among family and friends will be held in October, and he will be laid to rest alongside his parents at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines, Illinois.

My first memory of John was two years ago when I move into the Ontario Plaza. He introduced himself to me. At that moment we became friends We talked to each other two to four times a day. We talked about our family and how they made us laugh We talked our children and how proud we were of them.I'll always remember John and his love he had for his parents his siblings but most of all his daughter Ms. Courtney oh Lord he was so proud of her John I was miss you. I woke this morning looking for you to knock on my door asking for a coke-coke I don't want to go outside because your not there to laugh to share jokes or to sing with me. John you always looked out for me. I hope Courtney knows how much her Dad loved her. I know his siblings knows how much he loved them too. Last, John thank you for being my friend I will miss you but most of all, I love you.
