John G. EIKEY 93 of Wheeling WV peacefully passed away on 3-31-23 at Liza's Place. Born on May 5th 1929, he was the son of John E. and Eula Mae (Walke) Eikey of Elm Grove. A graduate of Triadelphia H.S., John retired from the Wheeling- Pittsburgh Steel Data Processing Dept. as supervisor. He was a huge sports fan, loved WVU Mountaineers and an AVID golfer. John is survived by his devoted daughter Teri Cunningham (Rick) of Wheeling, two grandsons Ric Cunningham (Katie) of Earlville MD and Kyle Cunningham (Ali) of Wheeling, three great grandchildren, Isaac, Skylar and Chloe also of Earlville MD, one sister Carolyn Golein of Wheeling, one brother William. John was preceded in death by his beloved wife Mary Frances (Jackie) Eikey, a brother Rodney, two sisters Geraldine and Betsy and his closest friend Chili his grand-puppy. There will be no services at this time. John proudly donated his body to WVU School of Medicine, as his wife did. The family thanks the wonderful people at Valley Hospice, the angels at Liza's Place and Johns friend Jim Irwin who was there for him everyday. Memorial contributions can be made to Valley Hospice.

Oh what a great Guy John was to all who knew him. Big Creek
Yacht Club is going to miss their golf Pro.. And we all miss his sense of humor and that Great SMILE !! Cheers to John until we Meet again!
