John William Elam

John William Elam, age 34, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away on September 27, 2025, in Corpus Christi, Texas. John was born on July 17, 1991, in San Antonio to Debra Estrada Elam and Jack Elam. John attended John Paul Stevens High School and later continued his education at Northwest Vista College, where he was pursuing an associate degree in Business. John planned to continue his studies to further his education. From a young age, John showed a love for adventure and speed when he was about four or five, he took part in quarter midget racing, a hobby he truly enjoyed. For three years, John worked for Levy Steel as a hot loader. He was known for his strong work ethic and dedication to his craft. Outside of work, John had a deep love for the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, exercising, and bodybuilding. He was also a talented athlete and a champion in MMA wrestling, proudly earning several medals for his achievements. John is survived by his loving parents, Jack Elam and Debra Estrada Elam; his sister, Amber Rose Elam; his grandparents, Richard and Rose Estrada; and his nieces, Sophia Aguayo and Loriana Morales. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Dorothy and Joe Elam, and his uncle, Mark Elam. Visitation will begin on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at 11:00am and Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 pm at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South. Services to conclude after. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Levy Steel, as well as to John's many friends and family members for their love, prayers, and support during this time.
