John Enright, 62, of Mastic, New York passed away on September 20, 2025 at 11:22pm in his family home.
Born on May 17, 1963 in West Islip, NY to parents Edward Enright and Audrey
Reynolds, he was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle, great uncle, brother, and friend
to many. He is predeceased by both of his parents, his brothers Edward and Joseph, his
nephews Craig and Christopher, his sister-in-law Laura, his mother-in-law, Agnes, and his
father-in-law, Ronald. He is survived by his loving wife of thirty years, Deborah, daughters,
Ashley and Samantha, son-in-laws, Mark and Kurt, and grandsons, Emmett and Finnley. John is
also survived by his sisters, Dorothy and Patricia, sister-in-laws Judy, Donna, Cheryl, Jennifer,
and Dorianne, brother-in-laws, John and Walter, his aunt, Eleanor Ashley, many nieces and
nephews, cousins, and countless caring friends.
John was a lover of life who pursued adventure, new experiences, and quality family time. He
loved game nights, football, music, golfing, cooking, and trivia. He instilled values of lifelong
learning and protecting the family unit in his children who remember him most by road trips. He
had a funny, charismatic personality that lit up whatever room he entered.
“Big John” loved good food, laughter, being surrounded by his closest friends, and his cat, Cupcake.
Viewing Services will be held at Moloney-Sinnicksons Funeral Home at 203 Main St, Center
Moriches, NY on Wednesday, September 24th from 2pm-4pm and 7pm-9pm.
A funeral mass will take place at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church at 25 Ocean Ave,
Center Moriches, NY on Thursday, September 25th at 10:45am, followed by a burial service at
Washington Memorial Park at 855 Canal Rd, Mt Sinai, NY. Repast will be private.
The family kindly requests that guests wear a pop of purple in honor of John’s love for life and color.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the following charities that
greatly impacted John’s care:
