John Eureka Obituary

Born on June 16, 1947, in Weirton, WV, John was one of six children born to Anthony and Mary Penpeck Eureka.
A graduate of Weir High School, John went on to serve his country with honor in the United States Navy. Following his military service, he dedicated 38 years to Weirton Steel, where he rose to the position of foreman, overseeing the operators of the Slab Haulers.
John's passions extended beyond his professional life. He found great joy in farming, where he baled hay and raised chickens, geese, and pheasants. An avid bow hunter, John cherished his time in the great outdoors. His outgoing and friendly nature endeared him to many.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his brother, Walt Eureka, and his sister, Cindy Love.
John is survived by his brothers, Mark and Joe (Joyce) Eureka, and his sister, Ann Whitton. He also leaves behind his nephews, Joe Eureka, Robert, and Stevie Love; and his nieces, Joyia (Michael) Lytle and Lauren Eureka.
There will be no public services. His cremation was under the care of the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home's Crematory 3219 Main Street Weirton, WV.
Memorial donations may be made to the donor's choice.
