John "Jerry" Fecteau

John "Jerry" Fecteau, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on July 10, 2025, in Mishawaka, Indiana, at the age of 83. Born on April 16, 1942, in South Bend, Indiana, to the late John L. Fecteau and Gertrude (Wituski) Fecteau, Jerry was a man whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of all who knew him.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife of many years, Linda Fecteau, and their devoted son, Joseph (Meredith) Fecteau of Mishawaka, Indiana. He was a proud grandfather to Peyton, Samantha, and Alexis, whose activities and sports brought him immeasurable joy. Jerry was predeceased by his sister, Charlene Butler, but his legacy of love and laughter will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
Jerry's life was one of dedication and service. Jerry was an Army Veteran and after earning his Bachelor of Science, he embarked on a fulfilling career as a Safety Engineer at various manufacturing companies, his last being Raco, from which he retired after many years of committed work. His colleagues remember him as a man of integrity and wisdom, always ready to lend a hand or share a word of encouragement.
Beyond his professional achievements, Jerry was a man of many interests and talents. He had a passion for golf, often found on the green, perfecting his swing and enjoying the camaraderie of fellow golfers. His love for the outdoors extended to his home, where he could be seen tinkering in the yard and taking pride in his meticulous mowing. Jerry's competitive spirit shone through in his love for playing cards and games, where he was both a gracious winner and a good-natured loser.
