John J. Fleckenstein, 74, of Denver, died peacefully in his sleep on May 14th, 2025.
John was born on March 12th, 1951, to Adam and Dolores Fleckenstein in Denver, Colorado.
He attended Our Lady of Lourdes Grade School and Saint Francis de Sales High School graduating in 1969. He graduated from the University of Denver with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 1973. He received a Master of Divinity Degree from Saint Thomas Theological Seminary in 1984 and a Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Colorado in 1993. He worked as a bookkeeper for over 23 years with the Colorado Ready Mixed Concrete Association.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Adam A. Fleckenstein, Jr. and Dolores Fleckenstein (nee Karls).
He is survived by his siblings: Adam A. Fleckenstein III, Michelle (Dennis) DeBruler, Roberta (Peter) Ferenz, David, William (Helen) and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on June 12th at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 2298 South Logan Street, Denver, Colorado, 80210.
