Rev. John Foster

Rev. John Nichols Foster, 92, of Birmingham, formerly of Andalusia, passed away Monday, August 18. 2025.
Brother Foster and his late Betty lived many years in Andalusia and were both active in our community. He faithfully served the First Baptist Church members as their minister and served as interim pastor to many congregations in our area.
Graveside services will be held at 1:30 PM Thursday, August 21st at Andalusia Memorial Cemetery with Dr. Kevin Wilburn officiating and Foreman Funeral Home directing. The family will visit with friends at the cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Ann Foster of Birmingham; two sons and daughter-in-law, Nick Foster of Columbia, MO and Steve and Jana Foster of Birmingham; three stepsons, Larry Bagley of Grove Hill, Johnny Bagley of Wetumpka, and Terry Bagley of Cullman; 16 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Foster; daughter, Angela Foster Robuck; parents, Rufus Marvin Foster and Mildred Nichols Foster; one brother, R. M. Foster, Jr.; and two sisters, Helen Rearden and Betty Hamby.
