John L. "Jack" Fuge, 84, of Indiana, unexpectedly passed away on Tuesday June 3, 2025.

He was born January 9, 1941 and the eldest son to John L. and Julia (Daniels) Fuge in Blooming Valley, Crawford County, Pennsylvania.

Jack was a man of faith, an active member of the Global Methodist Church, Indiana, previously serving as an usher and he formerly coordinated the Palm Sunday Men's breakfast for many years. Jack was a graduate of Indiana High School, Class of 1960. He was employed at FMC (formerly known as Syntron) for 37 years, as a skilled Machinist and prior to his retirement, achieved his goal of becoming a Tool and Die Maker. Jack was an avid gardener and had the gift to fix anything that needed repaired. He enjoyed watching nature from his patio. He was a devoted family man, loved deeply.

He is survived by his high school sweetheart of 62 years, whom he always called 'Hon', Edna (Peterson) Fuge, Indiana, two sons, Kurt (Dr. Deborah), VA, Daniel, (Jessica), Jeannette, three grandsons, Dr. Alexander Fuge, Zachary Fuge, Andrew Fuge, a brother Richard Fuge (Marilyn) and a sister Nancy Voorhees (Jerry) and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters Harriet Whitesel, Robin Fuge- Timblin and a brother Rodney Fuge.

Friends will be received on Monday June 9th, 2025 from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM at the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home, 898 Old Hwy, Rte 119 N., Indiana, PA 15701.

Interment will take place at Greenwood Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Global Methodist Church, Ramp fund, 50 South 7th Street, Indiana, PA 15701
