John Henry Fulton, III, 59, entered eternal rest on Friday, December 19, 2025, in Greensboro, North Carolina. He was born on October 26, 1966 in New Haven, Connecticut to the late John Fulton, Jr. and Maddie Fulton. John graduated from Wilbur Cross High School then later continued his education at Eli Whitney Technical School where he earned a welding certificate.
Over the years, John held several jobs. He was often described as a dedicated and conscientious employee known for his spirituality and friendly demeanor. John was always ready to listen, give advice, and spread cheer.
John is survived by his beloved wife, Victoria Fulton; children, John (Nickay) Fulton, Shanice Sumpter (Ty) Cole, Javon Fulton, Jaylona Fulton, Jahki Fulton, Candace Shannon, and Nakesha McIntosh; 13 grandchildren; brothers, Gregory Clark and James (Dee) Clark; sisters, Yolonda (Archie) Franklin and Rhonye (Marcus) Bowery; sisters-in-law, Janet Sumpter and Terry Provite Clark; brothers-in-law, Henry Sumpter, John (Wendy) Sumpter, and Teddy (Keisha) Sumpter; mother-in-law, Eloise Sumpter; best friend, Carlos Freeman; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends. He was predeceased by his brothers, Allen Clark and Reginald Clark.
John's spirit will live on in the life he built in North Carolina, working for the Industry for the Blind, and worshiping at Life Changing International Church.
