John was a life long friend going back to elementary school at Holy Saviour. He was easy to talk to, and nice to everyone. When I came back to the Valley I always sought him out to share a beer and recall the old days. Rest in peace Doc. I am praying for your soul . "To lose a friend is the greatest of all losses."

I grew up in East End and John was a few years older than me. But we made a connection with his ability (at the time) to do a Paul McCartney imitation. Me being a huge Beatle fan that would just make me howl. John was a sweet guy with a great sense of humor. I am sad to see he has left us.

John you had your quirks but you still had a heart of gold for everyone! You're now at peace, no more worries and no more being ill. Enjoy your life now, now that you are in heaven.
