John Gasser Obituary
He is survived by his devoted wife, Mary Louise Gasser; children, Anne Francis Bauman, Jane Marie (William) Fairchild and John Joseph Gasser, Jr.; grandchildren, David Joseph Bauman, Erin Marie Bauman, Thomas James (Emily Elisabeth) Keen, Catherine Anne Keen and Casey Marie Keen; great grandchildren, Leah Rose Bauman, Oliver James Jackson, Lucas James Keen and Stephanie Elisabeth Keen.
John graduated from high school in Chicago, IL. Following his high school graduation, he served in the United States Air Force for 4 years. In the early 1970's he worked for several companies before starting Stevens Learning Systems, Inc. In September of 2016 he was honored to be included in the Honor Flight for Veterans to Washington, DC.
The funeral mass to celebrate the life of John Joseph Gasser will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at St. Stephens the Martyr Catholic Church, Lilburn, GA., The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12pm until time of service at the church. A reception/celebration of life will be held in the Community Room 1 after the service at 3:30pm at Park Springs Retirement Community, 500 Springhouse Cir, Stone Mountain, GA 30087.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the Tunnels to Towers Foundation. Any flower arrangements or other items should be sent to St. Stephen the Martyr Catholic Church: 5373 Wydella Rd SW, Lilburn, GA 30047.

I have wonderful memories of John and Mary Lou over the years that his brother Bill and I shared with them. They were a wonderful example of true love and devotion and we will miss him greatly. I was able to watch the funeral online and was happy it was available to do so. May John rest in the peace of the Lord.
