He is survived by his beloved wife of 30 years, Cheryl, his children John Jr, Diane, Jeffrey, Kimberly, Dylan Gaugh and his stepchildren Joseph and Deborah Bocchiaro.
John grew up in Park Slope, Brooklyn before settling in Staten Island in 1992.
John was employed as a bus driver, driving a majority of his 30 years with Atlantic Express Bus Company.
He enjoyed watching the Sopranos, Curb Your Enthusiasm, and the NY Giants as well as all kinds of wrestling.

A Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Friday at John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals, Inc. located at 28 Eltingville Blvd Staten Island, New York 10312.Entombment will be in Moravian Cemetery, Staten Island, NY.
The family will receive friends from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM on Friday, December 20, 2024, at John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals, Inc., 28 Eltingville Blvd, Staten Island, New York.
