Jack was an extraordinary human being. An outstanding lawyer and community leader, he was also a warm and caring person. His smile could light up a convention center. He enjoyed life and lived it to the full. He will be greatly missed.

Mrs. Gherlein, John, Claudia, Ann and families, so sorry to read about the passing of your great dad. A fine man, devout Clevelander and a great example of personal and professional commitment and excellence. I so enjoyed his company since we first met in pre-school, John. Jack was a dedicated Vocational Guidance Services Board Member for many years. He served in several key positions, inclusive of Board Chair and eventually moved on to Honorary Life Member status. His dedication, thoughtful advice and significant support helped sustain and grow our vocational rehabilitation services. We miss him already. All our best to the entire Family
