AS far back as I can remember, Larry and Betty were our neighbors on Canyon blvd. I think Larry and I are the last of the old- timers on the block. Larry has one of the best-landscaped yards in the city, for which he won a first prize blue ribbon. He always greeted us with a smile and was friendly with everybody. I loved going to his occasional yard sales for a chance to visit and to see his latest plantings in the side and back yard. His cheery presence will be sorely missed.
