John Glenzinski Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Dec. 5, 2024.
John Paul Glenzinski (J.P.), 79, passed away at home on November 22, 2024. JP was born in Mankato, MN the third of seven boys. He owned and operated J.P. Construction for 48 years and Avenger Way Self Storage for 20 years. J.P. was an active member of the Santa Fe Country Club and truly enjoyed the comradery of his golfing friends.

John was a United States Navy Veteran serving as a Seabee in Vietnam and Antarctica. He was a proud patriot who loved his country and flew the flag every day.

Married 55 years, John and his wife JoAnn together built a life they loved. John is survived by his son Quinn; daughter-in-law Monica, two grandchildren, Andrew and Alyssa; and several nieces and nephews.

John was a man of his word, hardworking, honest, humble and generous. A true role model for his son Quinn and his grandson Andrew who often called his grandpa a "living legend".

Per his request there will be no service. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Rest well, darling.

Love, Wifey

JP was a great friend that was always true to his word and always there to help. We will forever be grateful for his friendship and knowing a man of such great character. We know the Gipper was there to welcome him at the gates of heaven.
