Not sure what to say?

I just heard of John's passing last night. I was shocked and saddened. I had the pleasure of working with John at BMC/NERH. Such a good guy. He will be missed. My sincere condolences to Diane and the girls.

We will miss our Florida neighbor more than we can say. To Diane and their daughters, we wish you peace and strength knowing that John touched our hearts and all he met. With our sincere sympathy. Darrel and Merle VanSickle

Good man John

To Abbey and family. I am so sorry to hear of your dad's passing. What a difficult time this must be. Thinking of you.

We were very sorry to hear about John's passing. I remember him as a child at Forest Lake. It was so nice to hear what a wonderful loving father and grandfather that he had become. We shall think of him when we return to the lake next summer. Mike and Eleanor Langford Donovan

I wanted to express my sympathies to Diane and family for their loss. John always had a smile and ready to engage in good conversation. He will be missed..

I had the pleasure of working with John at all the listed hospitals, from my internship at OHM to my last years at Stephens. As a nervous new doctor, he guided me through tough decisions never making me feel as dumb as I felt. I was so glad to work with him, and Larry Pierce, in Norway. It was nice to see he had only gotten better with age. Im sorry to hear of his passing. It was wonderful to know and work with him.

Hard at work!

I knew him from work, he could bug the everlasting bejesus out of me, gave me rides home, made me laugh. He and Jody would trade jibes and when she asked him, did it bother him that he shared a name with a toilet, batted not an eyelash to respond, "In my house, we call it a 'Jody'".

John was the senior leader of our Red Riot tennis team. As a sophomore on that team, I benefited much from his kindness and gentle humor. It is not surprising that he grew up to be a much loved person who will be missed by many.
