John Thomas Hall, 79, of Finley, Tennessee, formerly of Bogota, Tennessee, died on Saturday, April 8, 2023, at his residence in Finley, Tennessee.
Born Wednesday, May 12, 1943, in Miston, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Richard Leonard Hall and the late Helen Mae Lytle Hall. Mr. Hall was a retired employee of Lay's Farm, where he worked for forty years. Mr. Hall loved spending time in the outdoors and playing cards. The times that he cherished the most were those spent making memories with his family and friends. He had a special place in his heart for his "Grand-Dog Max."
Visitation for Mr. Hall will be held on Monday, April 10, 2023, from 5:30 PM until 7:30 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.
He is survived by one son, Micheal Hall; three daughters, Tracy Stanford of Finley, Tennessee, Lori Hall (Jeff) of Ridgely, Tennessee and Jennifer Davis of Ridgely, Tennessee; three brothers, Marshall Hall (Jewel) of Bogota, Tennessee, Bennie Hall (Barbara) of Bogota, Tennessee and Elvis Hall (Rita) of Alabama; one sister, Cherry Marie Allen of Newbern, Tennessee and he was "PaPaw" to his six grandchildren, Micheal Hall (Bethany), Etta Hall, Joni Ballinger (Brandon), Jamie Stanford (Katherine), Britney Morton and Madison Fairless; ten great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Darrell Joan Long Hall; three brothers, Donnie Ray Hall, Wendell Hall and Ivy Hall and two sisters, Bonnie Mae Minnick and Pearl Fuzzell.
