Rutland- John E. Hall

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our dear brother, father uncle and friend On
Wednesday morning August 20, 2025 at his residence under the great care of Bayada Hospice.

John was born August 16, 1948 in Rutland the son of Clinton D. Hall and Esther T. (Presseller)
Hall. He was a graduate of Rutland High School.

John joined the United States Marine Corps., and served during the Vietnam War. After his
honorable discharge of 4 years he moved to Maryland near his brother David before moving
back to Vermont.
He enjoyed fishing , listening to music and socializing with friends at the American Legion in
Castleton and the V.F. W. in Rutland.

Survivors are his daughter Jen, of Jacksonville, Fl, by his brother's David Hall (Joanne), of Bowie,
MD and Larry Hall, of Danby, VT, by his sisters, Mary Lafrancois (Jerome), of North Clarendon,
VT, Sharon Flood (Jerry), of North Clarendon, VT. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews
and cousins.

He was predeceased by his parents and by his Son Clinton Hall and siblings Shirley Smith,
Sherman Hall, Kathy Edmunds and Bill Hall.

Graveside Services will be held on Friday September 12, 2025 at 11 A.M. in East Clarendon
Cemetery, followed by a reception at the VFW in Rutland VT.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Bayada Hospice.
