John Hammock Obituary
Donny was born on, May 5, 1959, in Reynolds, Georgia to the late Sarah Childre Vinson. He attended Jones County High School. Donny retired from the Jones County Public Works with twenty five years of service. He will be remembered for his kind heartedness and lived his life simply. He loved reading, riding his motorcycles, and fishing the flats. Donny was a jack of all trades and used his mechanical skills to help family keep their cars running, lawn mowers and fishing boats. He had a quick wit that will endear him to his family and friends.
He is survived by his father, Johnny Robert Hammock and his sister, Linda (Chris) McCant. Nephews, James (Allyson) Ham, Preston Ham and companion Barbara Coe.

I worked with Donnie for Jones County, more specifically the Water Department. He was a wonderful coworker but also a very close friend. I will miss him. I pray for the family moving forward. Barbara, Donnie always spoke highly of you and I know you will struggle with the coming days. But I will pray that God reaches down and holds you close to him in the hard times ahead. Much Love..
