John Hanning Obituary
John Michael Hanning, 67, of St. George, went home to be with his Lord on November 30, 2022. He was born in Corpus Cristi, Texas on December 27, 1954 to the late John Lennon Hanning and Betty Rodgers Hanning. John was a member of Peoples Baptist Church. He loved fishing, hunting, and going to antique shows and folk art shows in North Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina.
He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years; Linda Hanning, children; Jonathan Hanning (Heather Downey) and Ashley Hanning (Jari Edwards), brother; Kevin Charles (Sandy) Hanning, and grandchildren; Joshua Hanning, Seth Hanning, Shaylie Downey, Ethan Hanning, and Evan Hanning.
Memorialization will be by cremation. A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at Peoples Baptist Church with Bro. Nathan Irre officiating.
Condolences may be expressed by signing the guest registry at www.shepardrobersonfh.com. Arrangements are under the direction of Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home, 526 Oakwood Street, Folkston, Georgia 31537.
