John Hanson Obituary
He was born on September 12, 1938 in Red Lake (BOT), Minnesota the son of John and Isabelle (Morrison) Hanson.
"Ferd" served in The United States Air Force for twenty-seven years including two tours in Vietnam. He retired as a SMSGT in August 1990.
On September 20, 1975, "Ferd" married June O'Brien at Ft. Snelling Chapel.
Survived by his loving wife: June Hanson; children: John (Jenn) Hanson Jr., Jared (Andrea) Hanson, Jessica Hanson, Jenna (Michael Spears) Hanson, Jillena (Logan) McCausland and Jacob Hanson; eight grandchildren: Lana Hovan, Marcus Hovan & Isabelle Ryden; Adeline Hanson & Lillian Hanson; August Spears & Fox Spears; LeeRoy McCausland; two sisters: Margaret Hanson and Esther Hanson; many other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by his parents, three brothers Marvin, Edward and Bunky and by a sister Deloris.
Visitation will be held at Washburn-McReavy in Coon Rapids on Saturday, March 22nd at 5pm with Services at 6pm.

Terri and I are so very sorry to learn of John's passing. Such a good man, neighbor, father, volunteer, and friend. We urge June and all the children to count on their friends during this time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
