Lanie Shay Barse

She was born and raised in Sisseton, Sd, and attended school in Sisseton Publi and Tiospa Zina Tribal School. Afterh school she met Jason D. and moved to Wahpeton, ND, then had her first sone, Raiden, then 7 years laterhad a second son, Colton with Jesse B. then lastly had Meilani and Anddis with Andres M., whom she loved dearly.

She loved her kids so much. She loved cooking for them, teaching them new things and keeping them up on daily routines, such as cleaning their rooms, eating breakfast and getting cleaned up for the day.

Lanie worked various jobs around the Wahpeton area, but mostly she loved being a stay-at-home mom and auntie. She loved listening to music, painting, learning new crafts, reading new books, writing poems, going to rummage sales and thrift stores. But mostly being outdoors with the kids, going to the park, riding bike together.

She loved being with her sisters, nieces and nephews. Always enjoying birthday parties and holidays at the bowling alley. Lanie always had an open caring heart for everyone around her and did her best to help out as much as she could.

She loved everyone who loved her.
