John Austin Hanson

John A. Hanson Age 85 of Apple Valley, born June 26, 1930 in Morris, IL to Rev. C.M. and Evelyn Hanson. Passed away on November 28, 2015. Preceded in death by wife, Connie. John will be dearly missed by children, Steve, Susan, and Scott (Lisa); grandsons, Blake (Allie), Matthew, Ryan, Tom and Kyle; brother, Rev. James E. (Marlene) Hanson ; sister-in-law, Marilyn (Pete) Messman; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. His only regret was leaving his family, who will miss him deeply. Memorial service 11AM, Monday, December 7th at Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church, 5025 Knox Ave. So., Minneapolis, with a gathering 4-7PM, Sunday December 6th at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 14850 Garrett Ave., Apple Valley, and also 1 hour prior to the service Monday at church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the church. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
