John "Skip" Hardee was born April 4, 1943, in DeBerry, Texas to Johnnie and Alice Hardee and passed away on October 13, 2025, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
John was dedicated to his work as a salesman with Standard Alloys. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, golfing, fishing and dancing at Ric Seeling Dance Studio. He was a die hard fan of the New Orleans Saints and LSU Tigers.
John was preceded in death by his father Johnnie Hardee, his mother Alice Hardee, his wife Diane Hardee, his sister Beverly Monroe, his stepson John McCurley and his beloved cat Chace.
John is survived by his brother Chris Hardee, sister Peggy Bradshaw, daughters Elizabeth Hardee, Susie Hardee and Jennifer Hardee, daughter in law Shannon Seay and grandchildren Heather Hardee, Chance McCurley, Brandon McCurley and Lily Seay.
John's kindness and charismatic personality will be greatly missed. He always offered a smile and a handshake to all. He never knew a stranger.
