Born February 10, 1959, John Henry Hauser was a man of few words, but an endless repertoire of songs and stories. He passed away on January 29, 2026, leaving behind a legacy woven from melody, devotion, tenderness, and true grit.
John found his greatest joy in life’s simplest pleasures—cherishing time with loved ones, immersing himself in music, old westerns, and losing himself in the pages of a good book. Those who knew him will forever carry his memory in their hearts.
Preceded in death by his birth parents, John is survived by his beloved wife, Carla Hauser; his children, Sean, Josh, and Anna Hauser; and his stepmother, Bonnie Hauser; as well as extended family by blood and chosen.
Family and friends will gather at a memorial in the future to celebrate John’s life and honor the remarkable person he was. In lieu of flowers, please donate to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital https://www.stjude.org (800) 213-6584 or a charity of your choice.
John will be deeply missed and always remembered. May he rest in peace.
