John Hembree Obituary
John Lee Hembree, 67, of Nova, Ohio, died Friday, August 30, 2023, at New Life Hospice, in Lorain.
Memorial services will be held, Saturday, September 28, 2024 at 11 am at the Nova Community United Methodist Church, 257 OH-511, Nova, OH 44859 with Rev. Tom Snyder officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to Nationwide Children’s Hospital, https://www.nationwidechildrens.org/giving.
John was born March 18, 1957, in Amherst, Ohio to Fred Jr. and Martha Florence {Doolin} Hembree.
He graduated from Firelands High School.
John retired from E&L Transport in Lorain after 25 years. He was a member of the Nova United Methodist Church and the Ashland Masonic Lodge. John was a big time golfer.
John will be deeply missed by his; brothers Ken and Tim Hembree; sister Patricia Hembree; Life Partner Brenda Harper; and ex-wife Emily Huey Hembree.
John was preceded in death by his parents.
