John Hockman Obituary
John attended the University of Louisville and Spalding University where he obtained his Master's Degree to become a Psychotherapist. He worked in the field for over 30 years and dedicated his life to guide and mentor individuals in their recovery journey. John was a member of Alcoholics Anonymous, a Kentucky Colonel and was an avid UofL fan.
John is survived by his daughter, Domonique Hockman; five grandchildren, Destiny, Trey, Emerald, Asia and Rain; two sisters, Cindy Trent and Peggy Haynes; and four nephews, Michael Trent, Brian Trent, Phil Powers and Chris Haynes.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Monday, January 5, 2026, at the chapel of Hager Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Hockman officiating. Burial will follow in St. George Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of service on Monday.
