John Hoffman Obituary
John was born on October 28, 1952, in South Bend, IN., to the late Paul and Vera (Shemet) Hoffman.
John is survived by his loving companion of 23 years, Michaela Nufer of Granger, two daughters; Belinda (Craig) Obren of Mishawaka, IN., and Cindi (Andrew) McDonald of South Bend, one son, Eric (Carrie) Hoffman of South Bend, eight grandchildren; and his brother, James (Karla) Hoffman of Edwardsburg, MI.
John graduated from Jackson High School and worked for several area manufacturing plants as a supervisor of engineering maintenance. When those plants closed, he enjoyed a second career in home remodeling and as a salesman for Champion Windows.
John maintained a life-long curiosity for how things worked. He was known to his friends as the man who could fix anything.
Cremation will take place with a private family service at a later date. Burial will take place at Highland Cemetery in South Bend.
Palmer Funeral Home – Bubb Chapel is assisting the family.
