Mark was born to the late Mariam "Peachie" (Miller) and William Hunter in Louisville, KY.
Mark had a deep passion for music and played the trumpet and sang in multiple bands over the years. He also loved spending time on the golf course. He had a strong faith in God and was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church.
Mark will be remembered most for his unwavering positivity. He had a smile that lit up a room, a laugh that was contagious, and a heart that never met a stranger.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mark is survived by his daughter, Savannah Dittoe; grandson, Hunter Dittoe; uncle, Wendell "Bud" Miller, and his band family.
Visitation will be from 12:00 – 3:00 p.m. Saturday, February 28, 2026, followed by a 3:00 p.m. funeral at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway.
