Lynn, MA - John E. Imperial, age 64, of Lynn, passed away at his home on Saturday, August 31, 2024. He was the loving son of Jack and Maureen Imperial with whom he resided. Born in Lynn, in 1960, he attended Lynn Public Schools and graduated from Lynn Tech, Class of 1979. John was employed at the General Electric, retiring in 2020, completing 40 years of employment and was a longtime member of IUE-CWA Local 201. John loved life and people. He was a friend to all, always smiling and sharing his sunny disposition with whomever he met. He loved animals and always had a pocket full of treats for the many dogs he met while on his daily walks. John possessed a unique memory talent. He remembered everything about people he met and knew names, dates, sons, daughters, birthdays, anniversaries. John remembered it all. To all who knew John and called him a friend, extending a hand of understanding, kindness and patience, we will be forever thankful to you.
In addition to his parents, Jack and Maureen, John leaves his loving siblings, Michael and Cheryl Imperial of Londonderry, NH, Maria Chambers of Lynn, Vincent Imperial of Saugus and Paul and Anna Imperial of Deltona, FL; his nieces and nephews, Nicole, Jonathan, John, Adam and Allison; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Zoey, Avery, Dawson and Molly; his beloved cat Holly and his many cousins and friends.
Service Information: A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 6, 2024 at the SOLIMINE FUNERAL HOME, 426 Broadway (Rt. 129), Lynn at 12p.m. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be on Friday from 10a.m.-12p.m., prior to the Funeral Service. Donations in John's memory may be made to an animal charity of your choice, to share his love for animals. Directions and online guestbook at www.solimine.com

I am consume in saddness. But share a memory of him boosting me up to ring the fire alarm in front of my friends house Danny Horgan. It was I believe 1969 when I was 5 years old. I think it was Tommy Kondroskis father ( fireman) who responed. Boy was he mad! John told me candy would come out. I miss him so much.

John was such a nice guy. He was very social and loved most. He was kind and giving. He was our first Christmas card we received each year. If John heard you liked something like stuffed peppers or mushrooms, he would get them to you! That´s how John Imperial was. So happy to of known John, and god bless him and family. Our condolences

Worked with John for about 5 years....we shared a space.. early on, we had a VERY serious discussion about him using a spittoon... every spring he would bring me lilacs... Always got
birthday and Christmas cards even after retirement ...it´s true he was always smiling... A very good soul...
