John “Clifford” Ingle, born August 4, 1935, in Dalton, GA passed away peacefully at his home, The Gardens at Royal Oaks on April 24, 2025.
Clifford worked as a wholesale ice cream distributer for Paramount Daries and Meadow Gold Daries. In his later years, he opened 2 shops for collectables. He enjoyed time with family & friends, collecting, going to the beach, games and puzzles.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Allen Ingle and Nellie King Ingle of Dalton. His wife of 57 years, Evelyn Epps Ingle, brothers and sister-in-law, Edward Lee Ingle of Dalton and Doyle (Margie) Ingle of Hixson, TN
Clifford is survived by his daughters, Carole Ingle and Susan (Robert) Harrison of Dalton, grandsons, Brian (Ansley) Harrison, Kyle (Krista) Harrison and Carter (Jennifer) Harrison, great-grandchildren Kate, Kami, Keeli, Caroline, Emma and Grady Harrison, two sisters-in-law, Ida Ingle of Dalton and Shirley Epps Arnold of Acworth, GA, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Services for Clifford will be held on Saturday from the chapel of Love Funeral Home at 1 p.m. with Rev. Brian Branam officiating.
The family will receive friends on Saturday at Love Funeral Home from 11 a.m. until the time of service.
