John Isget Obituary
John attended Grapeland schools after which he served in the United States Army. After being discharged from the Army in 1956, he went to work for Humble Oil & Refining Co. At that time he started his family and soon moved them to Grapeland. John started working for Nucor in Grapeland and raised his daughters on the same property where he was born and raised.
John very much enjoyed eating out, dancing and playing pool. He cherished his time spent with his family and friends as well as being on his home-place piddling.
John is survived by daughters Dorothy Stewart, Johnnie Mollohan, and Rhonda Taylor; granddaughters, Michele (Aaron), Angela (Chris), Nicole (Cody), Rachel (John), Ashlee,
Brooks (Chris), and Morgan (Diego); great grandchildren, Shane (Brittney), Bella, Lillith, Aleena, Lane, Autumn, John, Brock, Lorenzo and 6 great-great grandchildren. He also leaves behind several family members and friends that he loved dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, six siblings and great grandson John Bradlee.
His family plans a private celebration of life to honor him.
