John "Jack" Arends

John “Jack” Arends passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at the age of 72. He was born in Milwaukee but lived most of his life in Sheboygan County.

Jack is survived by his wife, Cheryl of 46 years; two children, Melissa (Cedric) Rembert and Jamison (Melinda) Arends; along with six grandchildren, Derrick, Olivia & Maxwell Rembert, Benny, Danny, & Tommy Arends. He is further survived by a long list of family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John & Lucy; and his in-laws, Roy and Gerry Roggentin and brother-in-law, Rev. Paul Spira.

A memorial service will be held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church (1810 North 13th Street, Sheboygan, WI) on Monday, October 30, 2023, with a time of visitation beginning at 9:30am followed by the service at 11:00am.

The family requests that no flowers or plants be sent. Donations made in his memory to either St. Paul’s Stained Glass Restoration Fund or Sheboygan Lutheran High School, are greatly appreciated.
