John “Jack” E. Frank, passed away on Monday, May 26, 2025 at the age of 95 years. He was born in Racine to Anthony “Tony” and Gertrude “Gertie” Frank on January 25, 1930. Jack proudly served in the United States Air Force, during the Korean War and was employed at WE Energies. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church for almost 50 years, serving as an usher for the Saturday 5:00 PM Mass. Jack had a special gift for golf, gardening and carpentry. He loved playing cards like sheepshead and cribbage, where he even managed to get a perfect hand in cribbage! In 1955 he married the former Bernadine “Bernie” Jansen at Holy Name Parish in Racine.

He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 70 years, Bernie and their daughter Alison (Brett) Mogden and their dear granddaughter Shanna Mogden. Jack is further survived by his brother Anthony Frank, close friends Ron and Fran Lyon, nieces, nephews, and other caring friends.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Marilyn (Louie) Rannow and a sister-in-law Carol Jansen.

The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the care team at LindenGrove for their exceptional care.

Visitation will be on Monday, June 2, 2025 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 225 S. Hartwell Ave Waukesha from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:30 a.m. funeral Mass. Burial will take place at Prairie Home Cemetery. Memorials in Jack’s name are appreciated to St. Mary’s Catholic Church or Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin.
