I am very sorry to hear of Jack's passing and send prayers to is family and friends! Jack was a long-time friend, but I hadn´t seen him since I moved to Arkansas twelve years ago. We often bantered about most everything! His parents lived across the street and three houses down from where I grew up. He was in the Navy when my parents built their house on Mark Street in Arvin, September 1958. I was in the military when he joined the CHP in 1968. Our paths crossed man times when he worked for Local Law firms as a private investigator. I still use his recipe for oven Baby back ribs, but he refused to share his homemade sauce recipe, and I bugged him about it every time I saw him for years! He will be missed by all who knew him! RIP my friend!
