John “Jack” Liebergen, 85, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2025. He was born on February 28, 1940, to his late parents Marvin and Hattie (Janssen) Liebergen.
Jack was born in Appleton and moved to Little Chute later. After high school, he worked as a mechanic for a short time before enlisting in the United States Navy. He was a BT 3 on the U.S.S. Bigelow. After serving his country for 4 years, he went on to become a master machinist.
He was a handyman if there ever was one. He enjoyed keeping his hands busy. Woodworking, fixing things, a grill master. He was also the kind of guy who was proud of his yard. Him and his buddy would go up to Canada to go fishing.
