John James Obituary
Known by many as "Blue, " he was skilled in many areas, from cooking in restaurants to fixing cars. He was someone you'd love to meet. Blue will be remembered for his lively presence and great sense of humor, much like his dad.
He leaves behind his loving mother, Laura Lewis; three daughters, DeOnie James (with ex-wife Vanessa Robinson-James), LaNayiah Bruno, and ZaMayiah Bruno; a stepdaughter, Nalisha Francis-all from Lafayette; a brother, Manuel Lewis of Broussard; and stepbrothers Derrick Broussard and Debrick Broussard, along with stepsister Debbrina Broussard, all from Lafayette.
John was preceded in death by his father, John Beren Lewis; his grandmothers, Ella, Bertha, and Patricia James; and his grandfathers, Manuel Joseph, Felix Broussard, and John Lewis. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
