John A. "Jack" Keprios Brainerd, MN – Lakeland, FL John A. Keprios, known lovingly as "Jack," 81, passed away on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 following a life marked by quiet strength, devotion, and a tireless work ethic. Born on January 25, 1944 in Brainerd, Minnesota, Jack spent most of his life in Lakeland, Florida, where he raised a family and built a legacy of hard work and commitment. Jack worked for many years as a plant manager in the paper production industry in Lakeland before finishing his career with Alabama Metals before retiring to travel and enjoy life with his wife, Stella. He was a man who could fix anything, always busy with home projects, both for himself and others. He also enjoyed cheering on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, since their first game in 1974, passing on his love for the team to his children. Jack was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Stella, in 2017. He is survived by his children: Sandy Rust (Ed), Kris Keprios (Stacey), and Cheryl Dougherty; his grandchildren: Ashley Gifford (Jake), Jonathon Rust, Hannah Keprios, and Grant Keprios; and his great-grandchildren: Kyler Gifford and Kolten Gifford. A true family man, Jack found his greatest joy in time spent with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. A private family memorial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to The Salvation Army, a cause close to Jack's heart.
