John Wayne King of Florissant, Missouri passed away on August 10, 2025 in Bridgeton, Missouri at the age of 69 years. He is also survived by Aunt Leota as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. John was a graduate of South County Technical School. He worked for The Boeing Company as an inspector until his retirement. John loved his job. He was also very devoted to his mother and cared for her after his father died. John had a unique personality and loved to debate on just about anything. He was a gun collector and enjoyed electronics. In his free time, he watched television – he enjoyed shows about astronomy and military history. John always had a fondness for muscle cars; owning a Roadrunner, a GTX, Mustang, and a Camero during his lifetime. His last two cars were TransAms that were kept in the garage for the most part. John also loved animals, especially beagles. His beagle, Charlie always had a special place in his heart. Graveside services will be held on Friday, August 15, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Meadows Cemetery.
