John Kitchner Obituary
Pat was born on December 20th, 1945 to Delmar and Ruth Kitchner of Troy, where he grew up.
Pat was an insurance agent in the Rochester area for 40 years until retirement. His sense of humor and love of flannel shirts will be greatly missed. His grandchildren were his pride and joy; going to their sports events, teaching them how to play pool and ride their first bike. He will be lovingly remembered by his family and friends.
Pat is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Linda; children John (Andrea) Kitchner, and Krista (the late Chuck) Johnson; grandchildren Michael Kitchner, Kyle Johnson, David Kitchner, Nicole Johnson, and Jack Kitchner; sisters Shirley (the late Bob) Porter and Marylou (Ken) Haffner, as well as many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Delmar and Ruth Kitchner, his sister Joyce Kitchner, and his brother Harry (the late Mary Ann) Kitchner. Brother-in-law of Gloria (the late Richard) Fredericks, Vicki (Jack) Stocker, and Darlene Ellis (Ken Downs).
A private memorial is being held at a later date. Arrangements and cremation entrusted to Modetz Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association

When I was in the army I was traveling from Montery to Texas.
The train I was on stopped in LA for a stop. Pat and Linda met me there for a short visit. I was glad to see them.This was 57 years ago.
